Dr. Margaret “Molly” Bourne is board-certified in Family Medicine, Addiction Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. Bourne joined Hospice by the Bay as Medical Director 2007, after practicing for 10 years in primary care and addiction medicine.
Alan Margolin, MD
Dr. Alan Margolin is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care. His more than 45 years of medical experience includes many years as director of the Marin General Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
Jessica Keane, MD
Dr. Jessica Keane is board certified in Internal Medicine. She completed her residency at UC Davis and later went on to serve as Chief Resident. She practiced primary care in San Rafael for seven years before joining Hospice by the Bay in 2014.
Jessica Safra, MD
Dr. Jessica Safra is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She completed her residency at Oregon Health & Science University and fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care at UC San Francisco. She practiced inpatient and clinic-based Palliative Care for three years before joining Hospice by the Bay in 2015.
Corby Kesler, MD
Dr. Corby Kessler is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Hospice and Palliative Care. He has provided Hospice care services for over 10 years and continues to manage a chronic pain and palliative care outpatient clinic in Napa.
Matt Katics, MD
Dr. Matt Katics is board certified in family medicine and hospice and palliative care. He completed residency at Natividad-UCSF Medical Center in Salinas and fellowship at the Institute for Palliative Care in San Diego. Dr. Katics worked for the IHS doing primary care and palliative care in Zuni, NM and most recently was medical director for both the inpatient palliative care program at Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System and the hospice and home palliative care programs with VNA Monterey county. He joined the HBTB family in February of 2016.
