All of our grief support activities are open to the community at-large. Call (415) 526.5699 to register or for more information.

Although grief is a uniquely personal experience, many people find a sense of comfort, strength and hope by coming together with others to remember loved ones. These groups are open to California residents whose loved ones were under the care of Hospice by the Bay, and members of the community in our service area. For privacy and to receive a Zoom link, pre-registration is required for all groups. A brief phone intake is also required for 8-week groups.

Note: We recommend allowing yourself at least three months after the death of your loved one before attending one of our 8-week support groups, as it can be especially difficult to take in other people’s losses during the early stages of grief. We offer individual grief counseling at any time throughout your grief process.
